Brewery 85 is a craft microbrewery in Greenville, South Carolina that specializes in marrying Southern culture with craft beer spirit while using traditional German brewing techniques. Founder Will Cameron says that opening Brewery 85 was the hardest thing he has ever done – and after being in business for over five years, probably the most fun. A few years ago the brewery began canning its beers for resale, with names such as Quittin’ Time helles bock, GVL IPA, Southern Style American pale ale and Yeoman’s Brown, so you can now continue the great experience enjoying the beers by purchasing them at local grocers. And at the brewery, any of the house draft beers can be taken home in a “crowler,” a growler type package that uses cans rather than bottles. Your brew tour can store your crowler to take home with you.
Conveniently located just off of I-85 (the brewery can be seen from the interstate), Brewery 85 is part of the Eastern (1st and 3rd Saturdays) and Southern (2nd Saturdays) Greenville Brews Cruise Tour. You can book your tour by clicking here.
